The Filigree Horsehair Necklace is a personal favorite design in my own collection. I wear it almost every day! This simple design features a pewter filigree tube bead, and is available using the Round Braid (pictured) as well as the Square Braid. Both braids will easily accommodate multiple tails if you have more than one horse. This design is made using silver plated hardware. NO TARNISH Stainless Steel is an upgrade option.
The length of this necklace all depends on the length of your tail hair. You can send your special horse's tail hair, or you can choose to use my in-stock tail hair available in several different colors listed in the tail hair options at no additional charge. Warranty Information:
All items created by DnA Braided Treasures are covered under warranty. I will repair damaged hardware, replace lost charms, etc. under normal wear and tear. Repairs are free. All I ask is you pay for the shipping charges. Replacement of lost charms or hardware may be subject to an additional fee.
What to expect when you order:
Each product listing contains an estimate of how much hair will be needed for the design you have chosen. You can choose to send in your own horse hair, or you may choose to have your piece created with my stock horse hair in your choice color(s). If you send in your own horse hair, any unused hair will be returned with your finished order.

Washing Instructions:
Washing the hair before mailing is not required but is appreciated. Please wrap a rubber band around the cut end of the bundle. Wash with regular people shampoo. NO conditioner or Show Sheen. It makes the tail hair very slick and difficult to work with. Comb out the washed hair and lay flat to dry. Then place it in a zip lock bag inside with your name, phone number and order number written on the bag. Then place in the mailing envelope. Please DO NOT ship damp hair. It can mold in the plastic bag and become ruined.
How to mail:
Please mail using a bubble mailer with tracking via USPS (United States Postal Service). Tracking will allow you to verify when the package arrives. Please make sure that the name listed at checkout is the name listed on the return address section of the package, as this will ensure that I know the horse hair is yours upon arrival.
Production Times:
My current estimated production time is approximately 1-4 weeks after receipt of your tail hair. Turnaround depends on how many orders are in production when your tail hair arrives. During the busy holiday season turnaround times can take up to 4-8 weeks. To guarantee receipt of your Christmas order I recommend ordering in October or early November. If you need your order by a certain date, I will do my best to accommodate you. There is a $40 charge for RUSH orders. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your tail hair. At that time I will give you a better estimate of when you can expect work to begin on your keepsake. Once your order is finished you will receive an email containing tracking information for your order. All orders are shipped with tracking via USPS. Orders over $250 will require a signature upon delivery.
