The Horseshoe Inlay Horsehair Necklace is a beautifully handcrafted .925 sterling silver pendant with your horse's tail added to both sides of the horseshoe. The Horseshoe pendant measures approximately the size of a quarter. This design requires a bundle of tail hair the size of a pencil at least 10" long. A stainless steel chain is included in the price. Available in 18", 20" and 24" length. Reorders of this pendant take approximately 6 - 8 weeks.

Warranty Information:
All items created by DnA Braided Treasures are covered under warranty. I will repair damaged hardware, replace lost charms, etc. under normal wear. All I ask is that you cover the shipping charges. Repairs are free. Replacement of lost charms or hardware may be subject to an additional fee.
What to expect when you order:
Each product listing contains an estimate of how much hair is be needed for the design you have chosen. You can choose to send in your own horse hair, or you may choose to have your piece created with my stock horse hair in your choice color(s). If you send in your own horse hair, any unused hair will be returned with your finished order.

Washing Instructions:
Washing the hair before mailing is not required but is appreciated. Please wrap a rubber band around the cut end of the bundle. Wash with regular people shampoo. NO conditioner or Show Sheen. It makes the tail hair very slick and difficult to work with. Comb out the washed hair and lay flat to dry. Then place it in a zip lock bag with your name, phone number and order number written on the bag. Then place in the mailing envelope. Please DO NOT ship damp hair. It can mold in the plastic bag and become ruined.
How to mail:
Please mail using a mailer with tracking via USPS (United States Postal Service). Tracking will allow you to verify when the package arrives. Please make sure that the name listed at checkout is the name listed on the return address section of the package, as this will ensure that I know the horse hair is yours upon arrival.
Production Times:
These pendants are made to order. Please allow at least a 7-10 week turnaround when out of stock. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your tail hair. At that time I will give you a better estimate of when you can expect work to begin on your keepsake. Once your order is finished you will receive an email containing tracking information for your order. All orders are shipped with tracking via USPS. Orders over $250 will require a signature upon delivery.
